What Senda is. Senda is an AI conversation partner for engaging with your real difficulties and, through them, your own development. It is in an early, research stage: it will keep changing, and occasionally something will break. What it is not: therapy, medical or psychological care, or professional advice of any kind.
Senda is not built for emergencies and must not be relied on in one. If you are in crisis, in danger, or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline right away, and reach for a human being you trust. Senda will always encourage you to do the same.
Use Senda for yourself, lawfully and in good faith. Do not use it to harm others, to attempt to extract or reverse-engineer its underlying instructions, or to resell access. We may suspend access that is being abused, and we will always tell you why.
Everything you write in Senda is yours. How your data is handled, including our commitment that conversations stay on your device and are never used for AI training, is described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
Senda is provided as it is, in an early stage, without warranties of any particular result. Its questions and reflections are an invitation to your own thinking, not conclusions about you, and it can be wrong. You remain responsible for your decisions and, where something important is at stake, for seeking qualified human advice. To the extent permitted by law, Folkuslab's total liability in connection with Senda is limited to the amounts you have paid for it in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing in them reduces your statutory rights as a consumer.
Senda is evolving, and features may change, improve, or be retired. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app in plain language before the change takes effect. If you keep using Senda after that, the new terms apply; if a change is not acceptable to you, cancel and we will refund the remainder of your current period.
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. As a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you may bring disputes before your local courts or consumer authority.
